Frequently asked questions
What makes the Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress different from other latex beds?
It uses four certified organic Dunlop latex layers with customizable middle layers that can be firm, medium, or soft, plus a soft top layer and a wool-filled organic cotton cover for temperature regulation and comfort.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might skip it?
It suits sleepers who want personalized middle-layer firmness and a dual-firmness option on queen and king sizes. If you prefer a single, uniform feel across the surface, you might prefer a non-customizable option.
What conditions or climates is this mattress best for?
The organic cotton cover with wool filling helps regulate temperature, supporting use in varied climates and seasons.
Which features matter most for first-time buyers of latex mattresses?
Pay attention to the four-layer construction, the customizable middle layers, the firm base and soft top, and the wool-cotton cover, all of which influence support, pressure relief, and temperature management.
Is this mattress compatible with adjustable bases and what about long-term use?
Yes, it is compatible with adjustable bases. The four-layer design with individually wrapped latex layers supports long-term use by reducing movement between layers and offering customizable comfort.
What size and customization options are available for this mattress?
The mattress offers a dual-firmness option for queen and king sizes and includes customizable middle layers (firm, medium, or soft) across different frames.
The Flora 10" latex mattress is crafted with four certified organic Dunlop latex layers, offering a customizable experience to suit a wide range of sleep preferences. The base layer provides a firm foundation, while the two middle layers can be tailored to firm, medium, or soft to support different body types, weights, and sleeping positions. A soft top layer reduces surface pressure points, and the organic cotton cover with wool filling helps regulate temperature while adding natural flame resistance and comfort.
Designed for versatility, this mattress can be customized across sizes, including dual-firmness options on queen and king for personalized comfort on each side. All latex layers are individually wrapped to minimize friction and movement between layers, and the mattress is compatible with adjustable bases. Optional hardwood slatted foundations are available to complement the setup, all while maintaining a focus on sustainability and safety with a 20-year limited warranty.
